A good few hundred birds, With no one else! The times I have used hides in similar places and wondered why the birds weren't there - only to find some dolt of a Birder standing behind me with a telescope. Each to their own, I suppose. I even had a guy with a guitar once! But this time, everything fell into place. Even the weather was good.
